[Hosting] Cloudatcost 2015 Review

    Frankly I would add a link to there site as my usual for reviews, but this company is so terrible, that I don't even want to link there domain in hopes that you won't even remotely click on the link and fall for the trap that they are. I have had more outages with this company in the past few months then I think all my 4/5 + providers have had in there lifetime combined and then multiplying it by 10. I have had outages that last over 72 hours with no word from response, no emails, no nothing. There twitter is spewed with angry customers, and on top of all that... they have only a single network feed to there DC. Snip snip... sigh, it happened. Not to mention the frequent outages of there SAN which leaves your vps without a hard drive for extended periods of time. On top, top of that rampant abuse, over commitment of resources, and massive IO load spikes from an all together idle VPS. There templates are broken, and don't work without heavy modification by the user.

    Sigh, this server is so terrible that I started a bench on a different machine 10 minutes after I started it on this one the other one still finished first. Then I got bored waiting, and built a new Debian VM on a Proxmox KVM. Messed up on the install, and restarted it. Then after I finished that VM install, ran the same bench script and had it finish before the other one was done with Europe.

    I wouldn't recommend them to -anyone- and they aren't worth a penny. Give them a .1/5 because the server powered on, that counts for something right?

    Too much downtime to use for anything of value, so it sits as a testament of what it couldn't be.
